1. Profile

Dr Shaomin Wu earned his PhD degree from Southeast University, China, in 1995. He is a professor in Business-Applied Statistics at University of Kent.

Dr Wu is an associate editor of SCI-indexed journalsIIE TransactionsandIMA Journal of Management Mathematics, and serves as a member on the editorial board ofReliability Engineering and System Safety. He was the managing guest editor of a special issue in journalReliability Engineering and System Safetyand wasa co-chair of three reputed international conferences, the 7th, 8th, 9th International Conference on Modelling in Industrial Maintenance and Reliability (MIMAR), in 2011, 2014, and 2016, respectively, a member of the programme committees of 20 international conferences. Dr Wu has obtained an h-index=20 in scopus.com and an h-index=25 in google scholar. He has reviewed proposals for the following funding bodies from four countries.
